Some people are hesitant about retirement communities since covid.

But we know a different story.

Our parent’s experience at Whiston Court, Worcester

Our parents, Alan & Betty, bought a retirement apartment in Worcester.

Since our dad passed away last year and our mum moved into a care home, we’re looking to pass their apartment onto new owners.

Estate Agents are telling us that some people are hesitant about buying these properties due to the horrors of the pandemic, but we know a different story. One where our parents avoided infection, lived safely in a community and kept going due to daily interactions with fellow residents.

This website is our attempt to put some confidence back into Worcester’s retirement community market. We know first hand the benefits of having parents live in a safe, community focused, fully-accessible home environment. We want to tell you our story, as a family and from our parents perspective, and in the process help as many people as possible discover the actual joy of living in a retirement community.

We hope you find benefit from our website.
